About Me...About You

Here's the thing about me.

I'm on a mission, BUT...

I'm always confused by those "About" pages that are CLEARLY written by someone about themselves, in third person, giving their credentials and why they're awesome. 

I'm going to break that trend (heck, it's my website) and instead use this "About" page for something different.

If you're a health and wellness expert, and you want to play in the 'Big League' and share your message online, reach the masses and learn how to SERVE... (& grow rich) on a massive scale...

First of all, know that I want to help and teach you how its done. That's my mission (more on that later).

But first, let me to tell you about what I believe about YOU and about what I'd like to do for you..

Here's what I believe:

1. YOU are doing the single most important job in the world.

 

Yes - you. If you're teaching people about health, wellness, eating properly, exercising, having healthy relationships and living a more fulfilled life...

I think you're in possession of the most important set of skills in the entire world - because unlike anyone else, what you do makes the biggest difference. 

It's nice to have someone show us how to earn more money, or make sexy cars for us to drive around in, or fly us to other parts of the world to broaden our horizons (or chill out on a beach with a cocktail)...

But honestly, NOTHING makes a difference in the quality of someone's life like the wisdom that a really good health professional who actually cares can make. 

There is literally nothing that can ever come close to the value of moving someone away from the troubles, stresses and problems of poor health...

And towards vitality, confidence, self-esteem and energy. 

Warren Buffet might be able to turn money into loads and loads of money, Tesla might turn the world into an eco-friendly electric-powered oasis, but they're still not as important as you. 

2. You're in the middle of a battle

Yep. You know this already - if you have a message about health and wellness to share...

 

They're really, really freaking good at what they do. I study advertising, THEY study advertising...

And I promise they're damn good at it. The world's greatest advertiser (who is responsible for the ad campaign that got EVERYONE to start brushing their teeth, by the way) started an ad agency that now serves two of the biggest junk-food companies in the world.

They've got a LOT of money, and there is a culture out there now of people eating, living and breathing the way that they want them to. 

I don't want to sound all dooms-day-ish, but look... If you teach people to be healthy, you're in competition with the smartphones, drive-thrus, on-demand TV streaming services, and computers of the modern world.

You're fighting against fast food manufacturers, TV shows that keep bums parked on chairs all damn night, and just about every other distraction in the entire world that's more immediately gratifying than going for a walk, or spending a few minutes finding & cooking something healthy. 

Here's the thing about that army of companies who are trying to persuade the people who YOU want to help to buy sugar instead of salad, play Tetris instead of throwing a ball with their children, or watch TV instead of going to sleep...

And I promise they're damn good at it. The world's greatest advertiser (who is responsible for the ad campaign that got EVERYONE to start brushing their teeth, by the way) started an ad agency that now serves two of the biggest junk-food companies in the world.

3. You can, and should win (you have an unfair advantage)

Great news! You still totally can win this battle - and we're going to. 

Here's the thing about what happens in someone's mind when they buy fast food, stay up late watching TV and 'forget' to exercise...

(this used to happen in my mind ALL THE TIME when I was young, unhealthy and in need of your help, by the way)

THERE'S A NAGGING VOICE OF DOUBT THAT SAYS 'THIS IS WRONG'. 

There's no arguing with it - sorry, McDonald's, but ain't nobody walking in your store for a wrap and thinking it's healthy. 

You, the health professional, have an unfair advantage: everyone knows that they need to listen to you. 

It can be squashed down into a tiny, tiny little box and hidden away deep inside with a few years of practice (ask me how I know), but it never shuts up. 

There isn't anyone who see YOUR message, your wisdom and your ideas about health and wellness and think "That's ridiculous - I don't need to listen to that". 

That tiny little voice inside means that you and I will win - because the world's greatest advertiser can convince everyone in the world that they NEED to brush their teeth on behalf of a toothpaste company (aren't we glad he did), he CAN'T convince everyone that fried chicken, sugary drinks and watching movies instead of going for a walk is a good idea. 

That's why we will win, and make the world a healthier place.

We are right, we are doing the right thing.

4. I can help you

Can I talk about me now? Awesome. 

This is the GOLDEN era to be taking information online, putting it directly in the hands of the people who need it the most, and if you're good at it...

Getting paid an insane amount of money, and being LOVED by the people who get their hands on your products and services. 

Oh - also, this is when your help is needed now more than ever. 

So here's "About Me" - I began my career as a personal trainer, then got obsessed with learning about ALL things health.

I eventually got frustrated with how few people you can really help when work 1:1, so I started an online business selling health programs and products.

 

 

Long story short... Did really well, spent a few years trying to figure out the subtle arts of business, psychology, persuasion, influence and being of amazing service and value to an audience who needed my help. 

(And if I can do it, anyone can. I mean look at me - I'm just a guy, sitting on a roof, reading a book. You can do that, can't you?)

That hard work (both learning about health, and learning about how to get people I would never, ever meet to take action on what I had to teach) paid off...

But it really wasn't my true passion. Sure, I loved hearing feedback and testimonials about the results people got from doing what I said, but it wasn't for me. 

What really gets me going is inspiring, teaching and motivating other health professionals to just take the plunge, go full-scale online with an arsenal of tools to build a massive following, get their information and methods in the hands of MILLIONS of people, and get paid for it. 

I know that almost every health professional is really, really good at what they do - they care, they study, they learn, they try to be better...

But at the end of the day there simply isn't enough time in the day to be awesome at health and sift through all those books, courses, newsletters and programs about business. 

I know that - and that's what I've done for you - that's what I shall teach you:

How to find a starving audience who needs your help, show them that you actually can get results for them, and then put your products and services in front of them in a kind and empathetic manner that doesn't twist anyone's arm, or sound like you're auctioning a house. 

5. We can have ANYTHING we want in life

...(If we will just help enough other people get what THEY want).

That's what my main man Zig Ziglar user to say - and I believe that so strongly. 

There's a subtle art and skill to that - you've learnt how to help other people get health, but unfortunately right now that's not enough. 

You need more - and that's what I'd like to help you do. 

I admire you, and I think you're in the most important job in the world. 

I commend you for looking to do greater things.
